About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our building & structures team as a Project Coordinator and you’ll be a big part of bringing project plans to life.

What you’ll be doing

As a Project Coordinator, you will be accountable for the following duties:

• To interact and become a key member of the project delivery team providing a quality service to support the effective delivery of the project.
• Identify essential resource requirements and monitor that these are properly booked and availability is maintained.
• To analyse construction activities and create monetary value targets to be attained.
• Prepare a project work breakdown structure and plan which can deliver the project objectives and providing effective project performance measurement and reporting.
• To develop the appropriate quality plan & schedule in line with the project scheduling principles and processes.
• To interact and support the effective information collection in an appropriate manner.
• Monitor and progress the plan & schedule as well as make changes as required. Develop recovery schedules and contingency plans in order to meet changed objectives as necessary.
• Highlight key milestones and critical path issues to members of the team, provide an assessment of the impact of such issues and recommend correction solutions.
• Monitor and audit construction plans and planning processes so that they comply with procedure requirements.
• Report actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes
• Interrogate progress for schedule adherence and payment purposes.

Who we’re looking for

The following qualities/experience are essential:

• Educated to Bsc Engineering degree level or equivalent standard;
• Minimum 8 years industry experience in project management.
• Relevant experience in the successful scheduling of engineering projects.
• Knowledge of quantity surveying and planning systems.
• Relevant experience of using a number of project management scheduling tools & techniques.
